CAD Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (CAD P&ID) course exposes students to the design of piping systems and equipment symbols using software application. Students will learn to use CAD P&ID software to produce P&ID drawings. This course covers the method of working with projects, P&ID project manager, class definitions, instrumentation symbol, tag styles, and annotation using CAD software. The design of the process can be used for piping and equipment modeling in CAD drawings used in the manufacturing and services industry. Students are exposed to the principles and good practices in the process schematic drawing of instruments and the use of appropriate technologies, methodologies in managing the computer aided environment.
